Why they're here
“We’re developing a series called Solstice, and the pilot, Sumarsólstöðu, was shot largely across Iceland during the summer solstice, with sequences filmed in volcanic deserts, glaciers, black sand beaches, and geothermal plains. Eclipses also play a key role in the story’s visual and symbolic language. We’re incredibly excited to return to Iceland to shoot the final episodes of the series, and the Eclipse Festival aligns perfectly with our story.”
